This medication is used to treat a certain skin
condition (actinic keratosis) on the face or scalp area.
Read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from
your pharmacist before you start using tirbanibulin and each time you get a
refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or
pharmacist.
Use this medication on the skin only. Wash and dry your
hands before applying the medication. Apply enough medication to cover the
affected skin on the face or scalp as directed by your doctor, usually once
a day for 5 days in a row. Use a new packet for each application. Wash your
hands with soap and water after using to avoid getting the medication in
your eyes or on other areas of your body. Do not cover the treated area
with bandages or other dressings.
Avoid washing or touching the treated area for about 8
hours after applying the medication. After about 8 hours, you may then wash
the area with water and a mild soap.
Do not increase your dose or use this drug more often or
for longer than prescribed. Your condition will not improve any faster, and
your risk of side effects will increase.
Do not apply the medication in or around the eyes or
mouth or on any damaged skin or skin that is healing. If you do get the
medication in those areas, flush with plenty of water. Get medical help
right away if the medication gets into your eyes.
Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit
from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each
day.
Tell your doctor if your condition lasts or gets
worse.
Swelling, scaling/flaking, pain, itching, or redness at
the application site may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse,
tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Remember that this medication has been prescribed
because your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the
risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious
side effects.
Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side
effects, including:
- pus/blister/ulcer at application site

However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a
serious allergic reaction, including:
