This information will help you move around, care for yourself, and do your daily activities safely after surgery. Do a little more at a time, and be careful not to move in any ways that could hurt your knee.
Remember, you’ll need to use your walking aids (crutches or walker) until your healthcare team says you can stop. Most people need to use walking aids for the first 6 weeks after surgery.
